1. Le Chocolat Lake Forest Confections Gourmet Chocolates [$1,500,000]
2. Peter Alloison's Diamond Crypto Smartphone [$1.3 million]
3. Sanrio Hello Kitty platinum miniature [$163,000]
4. Nino's Bellisima Pizza NYC [$125 per serving]
5. Diamond Platinum Bag [$1.63 million]
6. Platinum and Gold Tequila Bottle [$225,000]
7. diamond-studded Cricket Ball [$68,500]
8. Yalos Diamond LCD TV [$130,000]
9. PG Tips Diamond Teabag [$14,000]
10. Ginza Tanaka and Bandai Co.'s Gundam Fixed Platinum [$41,468]
11. Manhattan 18ft x 9ft Parking Space [$225,000]
For most of these, I think the prices are reasonable. To be studded with diamonds or made from gold and platinum is understandable. But I have no right to justify the food because I haven't tasted them yet (or maybe never). We could assume that they taste exquisitely good and the ingredients are very expensive and hard to find. Some are also collector's items and collections are acceptably valued. A lot of other aspects are added when it comes to pricing, but it is important to look at the main points such as materials and taste. But anyway, I don't think the problem here is the price but the idea of buying them or even creating them. I understand that a lot has been made, ridiculous or passable, because of possibilities in this world. But there are lots of things that should really serve useful that must be thought everyday. But then again, there are also these guilty pleasures in our lives. Sometimes we deserve to be spoiled. Excusable yet totally not the point. ;)
These short-time pleasures are not sh*t or crap but they are definitely unnecessary. Being creative is really good but some imaginations are to be left in the head. One should always make sure that what comes out will have worth. Or so I think.
I do not completely agree nor disagree with the list but it is interesting enough to think and write about. Thanks for JAM 88.3. It was taken from Oddee.com, and I recommend that you check it out for more details on the black treasures above.
